Rhythms on the Rio Music Festival returns to Del Norte, Colorado, on August 4-6! Blackspy is proud to support this festival that received its namesake from the mighty Rio Grande River, easily accessible from the campsite and festival grounds. The town of Del Norte has revitalized the riverfront area with a water park and Riverwalk, creating the perfect environment for both nature and music lovers.

The event features The Motet as the headliner on Friday night. Hailing from Colorado, the Motet is a world-class improvisational funk band that has dedicated more than a decade to the healing powers of funky dance music. The band has a long-standing tradition of playing consistently sold-out shows across the US while performing the music of groups like Earth Wind and Fire, Parliament Funkadelic, Tower of Power, and Jamiroquai.

Kitchen Dwellers headline on Saturday night – hailing from Bozeman, Montana – where they first discovered a constant source of musical inspiration. Today they lead the charge for progressive bluegrass dubbed ‘Galaxy Grass’ and are a staple in our community. We’re sure many of their loyal fans will be at Rhythms on the Rio in 2023.

The Infamous Stringdusters featuring Andy Falco, Chris Pandolfi, Andy Hall, Jeremy Garrett, and Travis Book, will headline the final night. Their musical influences encompass multiple genres, but their common denominator is bluegrass— the sound that has essentially defined their career.

Don’t miss the following bands adding to the stacked lineup: Cabinet w/Larry Keel, The Brothers Comatose, Lindsay Lou, Shinyribs, The Hip Abduction, The Larry Keel Experience, TK & The Holy Know-Nothings, Arkansauce, Mama Magnolia, Nosotros, Elder Grown, The Morningside String Band, and more!

Rhythms on the Rio is a benefit music festival hosted by the South Fork Music Association. The South Fork Music Association is a non-profit entity that uses its funds to stage live music concerts for the entire family and promote music education for our community’s children.

TICKETS ARE ON SALE NOW! All 3-Day festival passes include camping; car and RV camping are also available for an additional fee. Stay tuned to Blackspy’s Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts for more details as we move closer to the festival.
