Nestled in the picturesque town of Boulder, Colorado, the historic Boulder Theater has been a hub for musical talent and entertainment for decades. Few of the talented bands that have graced its stage possess the energy, charisma, and sheer musical prowess of Leftover Salmon. This band has carved a unique niche in the music world. Blackspy Marketing is proud to announce support for their 2-night headlining event happening November 24-25, 2023 featuring Peter Rowan. 

Formed in 1989 in Boulder, Colorado, Leftover Salmon’s distinctive sound emerged from a melting pot of genres, drawing inspiration from Cajun tunes, bluegrass, folk, and rock ‘n’ roll. Led by founding members Vince Herman (vocals, guitar) and Drew Emmitt (vocals, mandolin, guitar), in addition to Greg Garrison, Andy Thorn, Alwyn Robinson, and Jay Starling – Leftover Salmon is a pioneer of the modern jam band scene. In their fourth decade as a band, Leftover Salmon is not slowing down and continues to create new music, including the most recent release Brand New Good Old Days!

Combining world music and vocals with synthesizers immerses you in an experience with visuals beyond your wildest dreams! As the audience surrenders to the pulsating beats and hypnotic melodies, they become one with the music, entering a state of transcendence and introspection.

In the realm of music, there are artists who effortlessly break barriers and defy genres, captivating listeners with their unique and mesmerizing creations. Dirtwire is one such band, a musical collective that seamlessly blends elements of roots, world music, and electronica to craft a sound that transcends boundaries. Blackspy Marketing is proud to announce support for Dirtfest featuring 2 Nights of Dirtwire with support from Josh Teed, More Than Physics, Cloudchord, and Moon Frog on August 18th and 19th at Mishawaka Amphitheatre! 

Dirtwire is the brainchild of David Satori, Evan Fraser, and Mark Reveley. Drawing inspiration from their diverse backgrounds and musical experiences, the trio has crafted a sonic journey that embraces various cultural influences. Satori, known for his involvement in the eclectic band Beats Antique, contributes his expertise in global fusion and electronic music. Fraser, an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, adds his virtuosity to instruments such as the piano, harmonica, and guitar. Reveley, with his background in electronic production and sound engineering, completes the trio, infusing their compositions with a touch of modernity. 

At the core of Dirtwire’s music lies a captivating blend of traditional instrumentation and electronic elements. Their soundscapes encompass hypnotic rhythms, intricate melodies, and compelling vocals.

To truly experience the essence of Dirtwire, one must witness their live performances.
