WALK-IN CAMPING

There will be camping available in the wooded areas on the festival grounds. You will be able to unload close to the walk-in area and then park your car nearby where you will have access to it all weekend.

(Camping in the trees is a risk and that risk is accepted by the attendee. South Fork Music Association or the property owner will not be held responsible for damages while camping in the trees.)

PARKING

Parking for vehicles not wanting to camp is included in the festival pass in a designated area.

Rhythms on the Rio has been developed, designed and driven by a board of like-minded volunteers for 20 years. No directors to pay, no board member compensation,

Produced by the South Fork Music Association, proceeds are used for children’s music programs with funding having been provided to 11 School Districts & music programs in the San Luis Valley. We were especially proud to help in funding the renewed Sangre De Cristo School District music program and the Alamosa Live Music Association’s school program. Combining Music, Yoga, family fun & camping on site with affordable pricing make this a true Colorado festival.

PLEASE BE UNDERSTANDING THAT THE PEOPLE WHO ARE HELPING YOU ARE VOLUNTEERS AND ARE HELPING TO KEEP THE COSTS DOWN FOR THIS WONDERFUL FESTIVAL.  THEY ARE FOLLOWING THE RULES SET BY SOUTH FORK MUSIC ASSOCIATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND WANT TO HELP START YOU OFF ON YOUR BEST FEST EXPERIENCE.

Kitchen Dwellers

Kitchen Dwellers

[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]It was in Bozeman, Montana that our Kitchen Dwellers first discovered a constant source of musical inspiration near the kitchen, with bluegrass music, and each other. From those free-form kitchen picking sessions, their very own chief recipe of a bluegrass style was created. Over the course of their 4 year career the Dwellers have been honored to open for some of their very own musical heroes: Railroad Earth, Greensky Bluegrass, Head for the Hills, Horseshoes and Handgrenades, just to name a few. And as ambitious as it was daring, the band set to dedicating a greater portion of 2013 and 2014 to hitting the road. They were honored to be welcomed at the very own Delfest in Cumberland, Maryland, took second place at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival’s band competition and was selected as a finalist at the North West String Summit band competition at Hornings Hideout in Oregon all in the summer of 2014.

All this work and travel over the course of the last four years has developed a diverse fan base (some may even be so bold as to coin themselves “dishwashers.”) These enthusiastic fans, friends and now family have followed the Dwellers’ as they have set off across the country performing at all sorts of venues and theatres, such as: The Mishawaka and Oriental theatres in Colorado, The Tonic Room in Chicago, The Cabooze in Minneapolis, The Emerson Ballroom of Bozeman Mt, and The Top Hat in Missoula. Not mentioning all the amazing bars and other various venues not mentioned that made these tours possible.[/vc_column_text][vc_video link=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-haNGlXbrxI” align=”right”][vc_btn title=”Website” color=”primary” link=”url:http%3A%2F%2Fwww.kitchendwellers.com%2F|title:http%3A%2F%2Fwww.kitchendwellers.com%2F||”][vc_btn title=”Facebook” color=”primary” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FKitchen.dwellers%2F|title:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FKitchen.dwellers%2F||”][vc_btn title=”Instagram” color=”primary” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.instagram.com%2Fkitchendwellers%2F|title:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.instagram.com%2Fkitchendwellers%2F||”][vc_btn title=”Twitter” color=”primary” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Ftwitter.com%2FDwellergrass|title:https%3A%2F%2Ftwitter.com%2FDwellergrass||”][vc_btn title=”Join The Street Team” color=”warning” link=”url:http%3A%2F%2Fwww.blackspymarketing.com%2Fapp%2F|title:http%3A%2F%2Fwww.blackspymarketing.com%2Fapp%2F||”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”14722″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_empty_space height=”10px”][vc_custom_heading text=”Upcoming Events” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_raw_html]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[/vc_raw_html][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Euforquestra

Euforquestra

[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]Eufórquestra (pronounced yoo-FOHR-keh-struh, think euphoria+orchestra) is energy and rhythm personified. An ever-evolving sound that has been influenced by music from all over the world with an emphasis on funk, pocket and groove. For over a decade the band has been igniting dance floors across the country, blending the roots of funk, soul, afrobeat, reggae and dub to create a sound that “explodes, dances and melts in your ear with sheer bliss”(Chris M. Slawecki; AllAboutJazz.com).

Eufórquestra’s fifth full-length record, FIRE, was produced by Kyle Hollingsworth (of The String Cheese Incident) and captures the passion and musical maturing of these road warriors. Over the course of 14 tracks, the band takes you on an hour-long adventure that will touch your heart and mind, and keep your fingers and toes tapping. A handful of special guests, including Elliot Martin (John Brown’s Body), Gabriel Mervine and Kim Dawson (The Motet) and Mr. Hollingsworth himself, put their own touches on the band’s already cohesive sound that is “tight and engineered to a fine, funky precision.” (Jeremy Frazier; Chicago Jam Scene) The result is a record that is distinctly modern, maintaining one foot in the future and firmly planting in the musical roots traditions of the past.[/vc_column_text][vc_video link=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_klppUS5Y6s” align=”right”][vc_btn title=”Website” color=”primary” link=”url:http%3A%2F%2Fwww.euforquestra.com%2F|title:http%3A%2F%2Fwww.euforquestra.com%2F||”][vc_btn title=”Facebook” color=”primary” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Feuforquestra%2F|title:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Feuforquestra%2F||”][vc_btn title=”Instagram” color=”primary” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.instagram.com%2Feuforquestra%2F|title:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.instagram.com%2Feuforquestra%2F||”][vc_btn title=”Twitter” color=”primary” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Ftwitter.com%2Feuforquestra|title:https%3A%2F%2Ftwitter.com%2Feuforquestra||”][vc_btn title=”Join The Street Team” color=”warning” link=”url:http%3A%2F%2Fwww.blackspymarketing.com%2Fapp%2F|title:http%3A%2F%2Fwww.blackspymarketing.com%2Fapp%2F||”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”14277″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_empty_space height=”10px”][vc_custom_heading text=”Upcoming Events” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_raw_html]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[/vc_raw_html][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row]
