Coast to Coast Dates Plus Festivals: Umphrey McGee’s Must-See Summer 2022 Tour

By: Aryonna Richard

From Bridgeport, CT, to Los Angeles, California, and multiple states in between, Umphrey’s McGee, the jam band from South Bend, Indiana, kicks off their Summer 2022 Tour on April 28th in Atlanta, Georgia. The group that started in 1997 seamlessly blends complex music styles. They’re known for progressive rock mixing metal, jazz, funk, blues, folk, and electronic with their irreverent stage antics. The tour runs until early fall, with the last stop being on October 2nd in Birmingham, AL.

Who’s ready for live music to be BACK in full swing?

If you’re local to Colorado, you’ll have multiple opportunities to see them, with their first performance in Dillon, Colorado, at Dillon Amphitheater on June 16th! Of course, they will hit Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre for two days on June 17th and 18th. If the mountains call you, they’ll play their last set in Colorado in Vail at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater – four local nights of Umphrey’s; what more could we ask for this summer?!

With many festivals on their tour circuit, like Summer Camp Music Festival, Levitate Music & Arts Festival, and The Werk Out Music & Arts Festival, you’ll have the opportunity to see Umphrey’s in a variety of settings across the country!

If you’ve never experienced an Umphrey’s McGee set before, make this THE summer to cross a LIVE experience off your bucket list! The group features Brendan Bayliss, the founder/lead guitarist/primary vocalist, and Ryan Stasik, co-founder and bassist. While attending the University of Notre Dame, they formed the band with Jake Cinninger on guitar/vocals, Joel Cummins on keyboard/ piano/ vocals, Andy Farag on percussion, and Kris Myers on drums/vocals.

Tickets are selling FAST, with some dates already SOLD OUT; don’t wait to snag yours at a venue near you or if you’re planning on traveling to see an epic Umphrey McGee’s concert! Stay tuned to Blackspy Marketing’s Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter account for more details about their Summer 2022 Tour. [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
